But there is something that we can do to let people know what is right and what is wrong. Even though gay marriage may be legal now, it is a choice whether or not to partake in it. Writer Matt Slick with Carm.org or the Christian Apologetics and Research Ministry states, ââ¬Å"Homosexuals will say that they are born the way they are, that it is a genetic orientation, and since they didn t choose it, it cannot be wrong. If that is the case, then why do identical twins, with identical genetics, not have uniformity of sexual orientation?â⬠ââ¬Å"As it states in Leviticus Chapter eighteen verse twenty-two, ââ¬Å"You shall not lie with a male as with a woman, it is an abomination.â⬠The Bible is unfortunately now the only source now days that rightfully condemns homosexuality and explains the truth behind it. For example if nothing is/was wrong with homosexuality then we would not have had Adam and Steve and not Adam and Eve. Writer Matt Slick also states, Homosexuality is clearly condemned in the Bible. It undermines God s created order when He made Adam and Eve, a man and a woman, to carry out His command toShow MoreRelatedThe Long Term Controversy Of Nature Versus Nurture860 Words à |à 4 Pagesaspect of sexuality. As clarified by David G. Myers and Nathan DeWall, homosexuality is described as ââ¬Å"an enduring sexual attraction toward members of oneââ¬â¢s own sexâ⬠(121). Myers and Dewall also explain that, contrary to popular belief, research proves that biological influences determine sexual orientation, and that sexual orientation is not a choice (122-125). Martin argues that Paul was too defamiliarized with the notion of ââ¬Å"homosexualityâ⬠to pass a judgement on it.
